Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs the use of all services provided by LowLatencyVPS (“LowLatencyVPS,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), including Virtual Private Servers (VPS), networking services, storage, IP addresses, websites, APIs, customer portals, and related infrastructure (collectively, the “Services”).

This AUP forms part of our Terms of Service. By using our Services, you agree to comply with this policy.

1. Purpose

Our infrastructure is designed to provide fast, reliable, and secure virtual server hosting for legitimate business and personal use.

This policy exists to:

  • Protect our network and customers.
  • Maintain the reputation of our IP addresses.
  • Prevent abuse and illegal activities.
  • Ensure fair and reliable resource availability.
  • Comply with applicable laws and industry standards.

2. Permitted Uses

You may use LowLatencyVPS Services for lawful purposes, including but not limited to:

  • Website hosting
  • Web applications and APIs
  • AI agents and automation
  • Machine learning inference
  • Development and testing
  • Business applications
  • Database hosting
  • Remote desktop environments
  • VPN services for your own personal or business use
  • Game servers
  • Containerized workloads

All use must remain compliant with this AUP and applicable laws.

3. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited.

Illegal Activities

You may not use our Services to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation.
  • Facilitate criminal activity.
  • Promote illegal goods or services.
  • Commit fraud or financial crimes.
  • Launder money or evade sanctions.
  • Host or distribute illegal content.

Network Abuse

You may not:

  • Launch or participate in DDoS attacks.
  • Perform unauthorized vulnerability scanning of third-party systems.
  • Attempt unauthorized access to any network or computer.
  • Intercept network traffic without authorization.
  • Conduct brute-force attacks.
  • Exploit software vulnerabilities against systems you do not own or have permission to test.
  • Operate open proxies intended for anonymous abuse.

Malware and Malicious Software

You may not develop, distribute, host, or operate:

  • Viruses
  • Worms
  • Trojans
  • Ransomware
  • Spyware
  • Keyloggers
  • Malware command-and-control servers
  • Botnets
  • Malware distribution infrastructure

Security research performed on your own systems or with explicit authorization is permitted.

Spam and Messaging Abuse

You may not use our Services for:

  • Sending unsolicited bulk email.
  • Operating spam campaigns.
  • Email harvesting.
  • SMS spam.
  • Mass unsolicited messaging.
  • Phishing emails.
  • Fake marketing campaigns.
  • Email spoofing intended to deceive recipients.

Customers operating legitimate mailing systems must comply with applicable anti-spam laws.

Fraud and Deception

You may not use our Services for:

  • Identity theft.
  • Phishing websites.
  • Fake login portals.
  • Financial scams.
  • Cryptocurrency scams.
  • Investment fraud.
  • Fake technical support services.
  • Social engineering attacks.
  • Impersonation of individuals or organizations.

Intellectual Property Violations

You may not:

  • Distribute copyrighted material without authorization.
  • Host pirated software.
  • Circumvent licensing systems.
  • Infringe trademarks, patents, or copyrights.
  • Facilitate copyright infringement.

Child Safety

Any content involving child sexual abuse or exploitation is strictly prohibited.

LowLatencyVPS will immediately suspend affected services and report such activity to the appropriate authorities where required by law.

4. Resource Usage

Customers must use allocated resources responsibly.

Activities that may result in suspension include:

  • Intentionally exhausting host resources.
  • Excessive CPU usage that significantly impacts platform stability.
  • Deliberately bypassing resource limitations.
  • Resource abuse affecting other customers.
  • Storage misuse unrelated to legitimate VPS workloads.

Occasional high resource usage from legitimate workloads is generally acceptable provided it does not negatively affect infrastructure stability.

5. Cryptocurrency

The following uses are permitted:

  • Blockchain nodes
  • Validators
  • Wallet software
  • Blockchain APIs

The following are prohibited unless expressly authorized in writing:

  • Cryptocurrency mining
  • Mining pools
  • Mining proxies
  • Any workload primarily intended for proof-of-work mining

6. AI and Automation

LowLatencyVPS supports AI agents, automation, and machine learning workloads.

Customers remain solely responsible for:

  • AI-generated content.
  • Automated decisions.
  • Compliance with applicable laws.
  • Respecting third-party platform terms.
  • Preventing abuse by autonomous systems.

AI systems may not be used for illegal or malicious purposes.

7. Security Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for securing their VPS, including:

  • Maintaining strong passwords.
  • Enabling appropriate authentication.
  • Applying security updates.
  • Removing malware.
  • Monitoring unauthorized access.
  • Securing APIs and applications.

Compromised servers that threaten our infrastructure may be isolated or suspended until the issue is resolved.

8. Abuse Reports

LowLatencyVPS investigates reports of abuse submitted by customers, security researchers, law enforcement agencies, network operators, and other third parties.

Customers are expected to cooperate with reasonable investigations regarding their Services.

Failure to respond to abuse notifications may result in temporary suspension.

9. Enforcement

Violations of this AUP may result in one or more of the following actions:

  • Warning notice
  • Temporary suspension
  • Service restriction
  • Network filtering
  • Immediate service termination
  • Removal of offending content
  • Reporting to applicable authorities where required by law

The action taken will depend on the severity and nature of the violation.

10. No Refunds for Policy Violations

Services suspended or terminated due to violations of this AUP are generally not eligible for refunds, except where required by applicable law or expressly stated in our Refund Policy.

11. Policy Updates

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy periodically to address new technologies, legal requirements, security risks, or operational needs.

Updated versions become effective upon publication on our website unless otherwise stated.

Continued use of our Services constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
